American Cherry
Description
Cherry is a highly sought after American hardwood that has a uniquely fine grain structure and deep rich colors. The trees’ wood when harvested is white, with a pink hue in the heartwood, Unlike many of the other hardwoods, cherry lumber darkens with age, becoming a rich brown that will add elegance to any home.
The grain of cherry wood is straight with a smooth texture and a unique flow. The wood naturally contains brown pith flecks and often small pockets of gum that add to the character of the wood. The hardwood has a medium density and is one of the softest hardwoods that we sell. However, do not let that deter you from adding this luxury wood to your home as thousands have already all across America.
